Doug Harman
Doug is an experienced and talented photographer with vast experience in all forms of photography, but particularly specialising in portraits, weddings and architectural photography.
He brings with him a wealth of experience in all areas of the photographic industry having spent over 23 years as a journalist, author, photographer, and digital camera and technology specialist.
Doug is the author of the UK’s No1, bestselling The Digital Photography Handbook, now in its third edition and Snap It!, a pocket guide to better camera phone photography. He was also the technical advisor to John Freeman on the Digital SLR Handbook.
Doug has also written extensively for many digital photography websites and magazines including www.Pocket-Lint.com, What Digital Camera, Amateur Photographer, Total Digital Photography, Canon Professional Network, Digital Photographer, and www.fourthirds-user.com; Professional Photographer, Photography Monthly and Digital Camera Buyer. More recently, Doug has written for The Times Online and the Press Association.
Doug has also written and presented a digital photography DVD show called, appropriately enough, Doug Harman’s Guide to Digital Photography and teaches photography and photography technique.
Doug’s passion for photography means that no matter what the task, be it a wedding, a portrait commission or even photographic tuition, he always strives to deliver unparalleled know-how and stunning photographs with real impact that capture those magic moment creating beautiful lasting memories, forever.

Introducing
Tasha Harman
Tasha is a skilled fine art photographer and artist and she works alongside Doug as his assistant on weddings, providing invaluable help and additional photography cover to capture every magic moment on your big day. Her fine eye for detail greatly enhances the scope of the photography coverage we offer, at a level not usually provided by other photographic companies.
Tasha successfully completed a B A Hons fine art degree at Southampton Solent University 2005, achieving a 2:1 and she has helped Doug since. Tasha’s artwork has evolved from her skills taking digital photographs which are then enhanced on computer and her work has been widely exhibited as she continues building her artistic and photographic experience alongside Doug.
Tasha says: “I love wedding photography because I get to combine all my creative art and photography skills and experience, to more effectively capture those magic moments. Nothing beats the genuine job satisfaction capturing the perfect pictures of your special day”.
