Doug Harman Photography believes in bringing YOU The Power of Photography.

As such and alongside Doug’s No1 bestselling digital photography book, The Digital Photography Handbook; Doug Harman Photography runs both One-2-One courses and tutorials for up to eight students covering all elements of photography, from basics such as getting to know your camera – be it DSLR or compact – to using more advanced techniques a combination that will help you get stunning shots all your own.

Tuition prices start from as little as £65 per person for group courses and £75 for a half-day of One-2-One tuition.

A full day for one student costs just £150 and starts at 09:30 either at your home or my offices, providing an overview of the technology and technical aspects of your camera gear. After a short break for lunch you’ll then do a practical location shoot to put everything into practice. It’s then a return to base for image assessment and a Q&A.

We also offer discounts for smaller groups:
• 2-person tuition for a day costs £225 giving a substantial saving of £75.

• 3-person tuition for a day costs £325 making a even greater saving of £125 on the usual individual price.
